TRACE-CERTIFIED STANDARD
The Trace-Certified™ Standard establishes the principles and requirements for independent verification of an internal traceability system. It is flexible enough to allow organizations to achieve multiple business objectives. The standard supports the identified business objectives, verifies the existence of a correctly designed and implemented traceability system, safeguards the accuracy, quality and integrity of traceability information, facilitates communication of traceability information to relevant stakeholders and consumers, fulfills customer specifications and government regulations, determines the history or origin of a product, and enables the withdrawal and/or recall of products.
TRACE-CERTIFIED CONFORMANCE
Conformance with the Trace-Certified™ Standard can be verified by self-assessment or inspection of the 27 ETI Control Points and Compliance Criteria. Only Trace-Certified™ approved organizations are authorized to issue Trace-Certified™ recognition documents. Unauthorized use of the Trace-Certified™ trademark and logo is prohibited. European Traceability Institute is the owner of the Trace-Certified™ trademark and logo.
